Jill Novotny
COYOTE CLASS – EDUCATOR
Jill grew up in Connecticut on a small farm where her family ran a therapeutic riding program. She spent her childhood jumping on ponies bareback and galloping through the forests, mucking stalls, and helping children learn to ride. A love of nature has always been foremost, from exploring the woods of the northeast, trail running, and checking destinations off of her National Park bucket list. She attended Smith College in Massachusetts before starting a career in digital media and publishing. With a wide range of work experience, from editing videos at AOL and Rolling Stone Magazine to freelance web development, she moved from Boston to Copenhagen (where she met her husband, a second grade teacher) to New York City, before settling in San Diego. She now serves as Senior Editor at Equestrian Living Magazine, and (more importantly) as mother to two. Since having her children, now two and four years old, she has developed an enthusiasm for all things child development, respectful parenting, and an appreciation for outdoor education. She is thrilled to join All Friends as support staff.
