ALL SCHOOL SUPPORT STAFF

Lila Gavares is a born and raised San Diego native, growing up in  the very canyon All Friends Nature School meets in. She loved and loves exploring fairy canyon with young minds who see wonder and joy in every bit of nature.

She followed her passions to UCLA where she majored in Acting and Theater. While in Los Angeles, she substitute taught elementary school and nannied while acting and writing in local productions, short films, and comedy sketches.

Since returning home to San Diego, she worked at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance on their Philanthropy Special Events team. Whether it be on stage or putting on an event, she loves working in an ensemble/team to produce magical experiences for all those young at heart.

When not in nature with All Friends, she coordinates the Young Adults group at the San Diego Temple for Self-Realization Fellowship. Lila is overjoyed to be joining the All Friends Nature School team!
