Veronika was born and raised in Germany where she was able to play extensively outdoors throughout her childhood which fostered a deep love for nature early on. Veronika is the oldest of three siblings and started caring for children including her youngest sister from a young age. Veronika was trained as an administrative assistant during an apprenticeship in Germany. She went on to move to Southern California and completed her education with a Master’s degree in Psychology. Throughout her studies, she continued babysitting usually for families with multiple children. After graduating, Veronika became certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and worked as a therapist with neurodivergent children for five years.

Moving to San Diego has been a great joy for Veronika as it combines living in an urban area with access to much needed nature time in the parks, canyons and at the beaches. When becoming a mother to two wonderful children, Veronika wanted them to experience playing in nature just as she had as a child. This led to discovering All Friends Nature School. Veronika is delighted to be part of the team in an administrative function.
